A:	The boxes you describe are not part of our standing inventory and would be considered custom boxes. While custom boxes can be purchased they are subject to minimums of 500 pieces per spec.

4G boxes and shipping kits are common language used to describe a packaging group that consists of multiple components that are tested and rated together. Components can include a box, bottle, liner, bag, partition, die cut pieces, molded foam inserts, or any of a variety of parts that together comprise the package. All components are tested together as a single unit to arrive at the desired test result, therefore each component is an integral part of the package and may not be substituted.

By using the term "4G boxes" what is needed is a composite package (consisiting of mutitple parts) that together are suitable to air ship a battery.

I need a corrigated cardboard box, 26"X6"21/4",that folds from one piece?

This could be accomplished with either a standard RSC (regular slotted carton-standard box with flaps the fold on the top and bottom) box or with a die cut box; however, it sounds like you may be looking for a die cut box. Is this accurate?

I am going to need some boxes to ship individual 5 gallon plastic buckets. The buckets will be modified to have a 6 foot power cord , and 2 6ft pieces of 3/4" tube hanging on hte outside of them. Do you have a product you would suggest for this application?

We currently stock a box designed for shipping 5 gallon plastic pails and a box designed for shipping steel pails; however, they were designed for the dimensions of the pails as they are. They likely would not work with your modifications.

Looking for an inexpensive container to ship hats one dozen at a time stacked. Hats are aproximately 15" in dia. and max 28 to 30" high. Thsi is to be used to ship the hats via UPS, Fed Ex, USPS etc... I would appreciate a quick response.

You would likely do best to have a box custom made to fit your requirements. This would allow you to control the board strength of the box along with the exact dimensions and any other characteristics that would ensure you get the best result for your investment.

Presumably the hats would be easily crushed and given that the small parcel shipping enviroment is as tough as it is on packages you want to ensure that the package arrives in good condition.

Going with anything other than a box would expose you to extra handling charges when shipping via UPS and FedEx.

Q:	Shipping Guitars!! Need boxes 44" high, 18" wide and 6" deep. How much would they cost. We would be purchasing about 100
A:	We do not stock anything that would fit these dimensions. You would have to either find a supplier that does or have one custom made. Custom made boxes require additional cost that would require a purchase larger than 100. You might consider continuing your search and finding someone that stocks the box.

Q:	I am a visual artist working in the delicate medium of encaustic. I need something like a deep, strong corregated pizza box. I tried looking for pizza boxes but they are not quite deep enough. I need them approximately, 16x16x3 on the inside,25x25x3 or 4 on the inside and 37x367x3 or 4 on the inside. If they are a little bigger but close, i can just pad the inside with bibble wrap.

A:	Our current stock goes as high as 4G/Y32/S. That does not exclude the possibility of having one designed to your specifications. How many were you looking for? What are you packing?

How big is a 4G cardboard box

4G is a UN/DOT designation relating to combination packaging and has nothing to do with the size of the container or it's dimension.

If someone has indicated to you that you need a 4G box what they are indicating is that the material you are packing requires a combination package to be shipped.

I strongly encourage you to do a little research on the regulations surrounding the material you wish to ship.

Penalties for improperly packaged or labeled regulated materials are severe.

Q:	I need a 4G carton 8x6x4 to send limited quantity (30 grams) of Class 3 and/or combustible samples (botanical extracts with some alcohol). This is for ground shipping. Can you help? Thank you Marc B. Mueller Greentech USA, Inc.
A:	We would have to have a package tested and certified. How many boxes do you need? What sort of bottles are you using? Where are you located? You might be be better off buying something off the shelf from someone like Labelmaster, but you can certainly call us to discuss it if you wish to. Tell the front office that Brian told you to ask for Bill Mason to discuss your need.

A:	Please indicate quantity and application for box queries This allows us to determine if you are in a range that would make a customized box a better solution for you or if you will be confined to off the shelf solutions. In either case we are far more able to answer your question intelligently with these critical bits of information.

Q:	I am looking for a supplier on a corrugated cardboard divider that can be reusable. The divider needs to have 6 places to place product. The size of the container that this divider would go into is 131/2" wide X 23" long X 6" tall. We would be using these on the inside of plastic totes, to help with breakage on some types of merchandise.If you have seen the divider that is used in the shipping container on automotive anti-freeze this is what I am trying to get in the size above.

A:	They could run as a die cut(customer pays for cutting die). How many are you looking for? What is the application?

Q:	Can you make custom size sheets of cardboard? I need cardboard sheets that are 96"X34.5"
A:	Yes, custom sheets of corrugated can be manufactured to those dimensions. Where are located? What quantity would you require?

Q:	Can you make and deliver to CT a custom double wall box 55"(H)x33"(W)x30"(L) and 55"(H)x39.25"(W)x47.25"(L) all need a foldable top and no bottom.

Q:	I need boxes that would hold 12 one quart mason jars with dividers between them. Do you have anything like this?
A:	What are the dimensions of your jars?

I am looking for a cardboard sheet that is two inches thick, approximately. Do yo carry something llike this or know who might?

That sounds like something that would be outside of what we do and I can't say that I know of anyone who would do something like this. I have seen pallets constructed of corrugated carboard where the components are punched out of thick board, but even these are individual thinner sheets glued together.

If it is possible it would be in such a fashion.

Another possibility would be honeycell.

Knowing what you are trying to accomplish would help in answering your question.

Q:	I am a Realtor looking for a box with 1 color printing to give to clients so that they can put important instructions, clickers etc. in one place for the buyers of their home. Suggestions? I was thinking about the size of stock file boxes...15"l x12"wx10"d unless you have a better suggestion.
A:	Great idea! What quantity were you thinking of?

A:	I think what you may be driving at is the exterior vs. interior dimensions.

Q:	Do you supply corrugated boxes made from recovered fiber and post consumer fiber between 25% and 50% ?
A:	Our box liners (the innner and outter faces of the fiber board) are 40% recycled or post consumer fiber. While the inner medium (that part between the the outter and inner face is not). The true yield of post consumer or recycled fiber board is likely more in the neighborhood of 20 to 25%. But that would be a rather vague guess. Exact numbers could be established with more information.
