steel buckets
| Q: | Is the steel bucket lined with a coating safe for solvent base products. Concerned with contaminating product thank you |
| A: | Steel pails are lined with phenolic or epoxy/phenolic coatings. The linings are sprayed on the pails and baked. No lining works with everything. The phenolics tend to be better with organic solvents and lower than 7 PH materials. The epoxy/phenolics work better with water and materials with a PH over 7. No pail lining works with extreme PH materials at either end of the scale. We would need some specifics on the intended use to provide anything other than this basic information. |
