30 Gallon Closed Head Unlined Steel Drum
Our 30 gallon closed/tight head steel drum is black with a white cover. The cover cannot be removed. This is an unlined drum with one 3/4″ and one 2″ Trisure steel plug with Buna gaskets. Closing instructions are to torque the 2″ plug to 20 FT-LBS and the 3/4″ plug to 12 FT-LBS. This drum has a UN rating of UN1A1/Y1.4/300 making the drum suitable for shipping or storing hazardous liquids in the Packing Group II or III categories. Of course this drum is also suitable for shipping or storing non-hazardous liquids. Some of the benefits or using steel drums are:
