Liners for Screw Caps

The suggested uses are a partial listing of suitable applications for these liners.  They are offered as a guide, not a guarantee.  The user is responsible for testing the suitability of these products for their specific application.

SureSeal – .030 LDPE/LDPE foam core/LDPE

This liner performs well in many applications for food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, industrial and household chemicals.

Liner has good resistance to acids, alkalies, slow solvents, alcohols, oils and aqueous products.  Poor resistance to active hydrocarbon solvents.

Suitable for food contact by FDA regulation 177.1520 (c) 3.1.

F217 is a similar liner produced by a different company.  Mold Rite refers to F217 as “024”.

 

PS Liners  

PS liners are generally .020 pressure sensitive adhesive polystyrene foam.  They are intended for use with dry products and will seal with pressure to glass and plastic containers.  They do not meet the standards for a tamper evident seal.

 

PAF – Pulp & Aluminum Foil

Suggested uses are carbon tetrachloride, chrome cleaner & polish, grease, mineral oils, motor oil, organic solvents, shoe dye, shoe polish.  PAF should not be used with any acids, bases. corrosives or aqueous products.

PPE – Pulp & Poly – High Density PE film on pulp backing

Suggested product applications are adhesives, ammonia, antacids, auto cleaners, bleaching agents, detergents, cosmetics, floor care products, hair care products, honey, hydrogen peroxide, laxatives, lemon juice, mouthwash, pharmaceuticals, rubbing alcohol, salad dressing, shampoo, spices, spring water, suntan lotion and window cleaners.
