F Style Plastic Jugs with In-Line Fluorination

Our F style white plastic jugs are fluorinated with a process known as in-line fluorination. This type of fluorination treatment occurs during the normal blow-mold cycle and results in a permanent chemical modification of the surface of the container. There is no residue left behind by this process nor does it cause any discoloration of the containers. The fluorination process makes the container surface highly resistant to deterioration from chemical attack and can help to increase shelf life and maintain product integrity. It does this by helping to stop permeation. When permeation occurs, some active ingredients of the product can pass through the container and evaporate. This can lead to product deterioration. The types of products that are commonly sold in fluorinated containers are:
- insecticides
- herbicides
- petroleum based products
- penetrating oils
- automotive additives
Fluorinated containers are used in a wide base of industries such as cosmetics, health care, fragrances, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, automotive and much more.
