5 Gallon Gray Straight Sided Steel Pail – Clear(Gold) Phenolic Lining – UN Rated

Our 5 gallon straight sided steel pail is gray and has a 2 coat clear phenolic lining.  It has a single bead above the ear and a wire bail handle.  It comes with a lined lug cover and has a UN rating of UN1A2/Y1.8/100 making it suitable for hazardous products in the Packing Group II and III categories.  This pail is not a nested pail.  It has an 11 15/16″ outside diameter and a 13 3/8″ outside height (with the cover).  Clear (gold) phenolic linings have a high degree of acid and solvent resistance.  We do not recommend this pail be used for alkaline products.  Typically products that do not affect the lining include:

  • acid compounds
  • agricultural chemicals
  • petroleum products
  • solvents
  • essential oils
  • food products
  • paints & coatings
  • pharmaceutical products
