What Are the Advantages of Using Plastic Paint Cans?
One of the largest advantages of using plastic paint cans is a patented snap closure system that creates an airtight seal – no matter how many times the container is opened and closed. This snap closure system protects your product from filling until it reaches the end user. We have been told by our customers that this container is easier to open and close when compared to it’s tin counterpart. The snap closure system is resistant to damage despite repeated openings and closings. Other major performance benefits are:
- Reduced costs
- Greater shelf appeal
- Damage resistance
- Eliminates rust
- Fill line friendly
These cans are make from black, high impact polypropylene. Suggested usages are for latex paints, colorants and other water based products. The shape of the can is similar to the tin version so that it can fit easily into existing filling lines and in store shaker equipment.
Note: Products that tend to permeate polyolefins should be carefully tested before packaging in these cans. Cans are not suitable for freezing and are not approved for food contact.
As always, compatibility of the product with the container is the responsibility of the shipper. Please call us for a sample for testing with your product.
