5 Gallon Blue HDPE Plastic Round Drum

Our 5 gallon blue round drum is made from FDA approved high density polyethylene material.  The opening is a 70mm Rieke screw neck with 8 TPI (Threads Per Inch).  It is supplied with a dust cap.  Rieke 70mm caps are sold separately and you can find those choices listed below.  This container does not have a vent cap.

This container has a drop, or swing, handle for easy pouring.  It has a tare weight of 1180 grams (2.7 lbs.).  It has an interlocking top and bottom for easy stacking and shipping.  The option to stack these containers can help to minimize storage space.  It is UN rated for Packing Groups II & III with a UN rating of UN1H1/Y1.8/100.

The manufacturer advises that this container is suitable for paints, adhesives, mastics, additives, janitorial supplies and more.  It is a food grade container and may also be used for non-hazardous products.

Natural Plastic 70mm Screw Cap with 3/4" Reducer and Gasket Screw Cap Item: PCA0700SC00002 UN Rating: Opening: 70mm & 3/4" Reducer Pack: 250 Our 70mm screw cap has a 3/4" center reducer that can be taken out. Once the center reducer is removed, you are able to use a 3/4" Florite faucet (sold separately).
