E-Tainer 5 Gallon Bottle Within a Box – UN4G
Our 5 gallon E-Tainer® bottle within a box has a UN rating of UN4G/Y31.2S. This is a UN approved combination package of a lightweight, rigid container (bottle) with a sturdy corrugated housing. The picture to the right shows the bottle next to the box. The environmental benefits of this package are as follows:
- less plastic
- less energy in production
- fully recyclable corrugated
- corrugated weighs up to 30% less, while maintaining container strength and integrity
This package is commonly used in the following industries:
- Industrial Chemicals
- Janitorial & Sanitation
- Agricultural Chemicals
- Inks and Coatings
The E-Tainer comes with both a 70mm cap and an 18mm vent cap. The 70mm cap has a 3/4″ center reducer which can be “knocked out”. This allows our 3/4″ FloRite faucet (sold separately) to be threaded into the cap. The E-tainer® has graduation marks at the 1, 2, 3 and 4 gallon levels.
