Packing Group I Containers

The UN assigns a packing group to classify regulated material by the amount of risk the material poses during transportation.  Packing Group I is reserved for material with the greatest danger.  This type of product must be in a container with an X rating.  We will list in this article, the various containers that we stock that are X rated or Packing Group I containers.

As always, it is the responsibility of the shipper to know that the package he is using is suitable for the application.  Please keep in mind that the compatibility of the product with the package is not addressed by UN markings.
